Inquire About Our DJ Entertainment ServicesIsaiah Springer, also known as Dj Zimma is an international DJ who has been perfecting his craft since the age of ten years old. At 22 years old, his musical knowledge has been the reason for his career’s early success. Along with his musical knowledge, his talent and drive was obtained at an early age as he learned to play various percussion instruments and Cello, teaching him how to produce, recreate, and read music. Known notably for his professionalism, energy, and ability to make your event memorable.
His roots extend from Brooklyn New York where he was grown in a West Indian home. Using education as an outlet Dj Zimma was able to begin building his brand, Zimma, in the fall of 2014 at Buffalo State College. At Buffalo State College Zimma built a name for himself under OneFamilySounds with the goal of unifying musicians, and Djs alike to work together to reach their goals. Zimma also networked in the Buffalo neighborhoods working with the Community Action Organization non profit organization where he did school shows for free at Mckinley High School and various afterschool centers. |
Zimma also got the opportunity to display his talents at various events at SUNY Buffalo State College which would lead him to other colleges such as Damon College, University Of Vermont, University of Buffalo, CUNY Queens College, SUNY Brockport, SUNY Oswego. Zimma is also known for his notable marketing ability as he maintains a Bachelors in Marketing which he attained at SUNY Buffalo State College. He also interned and learned professional music marketing through Power 96.5 in Buffalo New York, and helped contribute to the stations Music History Collection Museum as an intern. Power 96.5 is Buffalo’s first African American owned radio station. He was mentored on how to take feedback and successful entrepreneur habits by peers and excelled in his time at the radio station. He also co-produced a pre-recorded show NewKIDSOntheBlock with students from Mckinley High School.
After four years in Buffalo DJ Zimma returned to New York City with the intent of
expanding his brand and his talents to all crowds. His talents were found by InTheStreetsRadio, an online radio station which gave Dj Zimma a marketing platform to display his talents. Notably he has been featured at Sims Bar and Lounge contributing to the rebranding process of the bar and helping to pull a diverse crowd and maintain an international presence. Zimma has also had the opportunity to Dj in Guyana, South America at Soca On the Beach which is kept at Guyana 5-star Marriott Hotel. He has also hosted private events in Guyana that have been very successful,
to which patrons cannot wait to return. He also made memorable moments doing “pop up Dj” in St. Vincent and the Grenadines communities such as Clare Valley, Vermont, and Sion Hill all for free with just a speaker, microphone, and good music in 2017 & 2018 carnival season. All these efforts helped to push and continues to push Dj Zimma to newer and excelling heights. DJ Education and TrainingDj Zimma combines his BA in Marketing and M.A of Teaching in Child Education to give back to his community by working with children teaching them how their creative influences and natural rhythm makes them a natural DJ. Pushing children to be creative but instilling the knowledge of marketing, which allows a DJ to generate business for themselves.
